Who will David Jonsson play in 'Black Panther 3' in Comic-Con reveal?

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a new face in the Black Panther world. President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige took to the stage at Hall H at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, and the massive update was one of many for the franchise. David Jonsson, star of Alien: Romulus and The Long Walk, will be joining as the son of T'Challa.
Jonsson's announcement went hand-in-hand with the reveal of in 2028's Black Panther 3, which will be directed by Ryan Coogler. The third in the series is set to release on December 15, 2028. Letitia Wright, who plays the current Black Panther, joined Jonsson on stage for the segment.

Chadwick Boseman portrayed Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame before passing away from cancer in 2020. Marvel didn't recast the role, instead having the mantle pass to his sister, Shuri (Wright), in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever as both the characters and actors dealt with the grief of his death.
The character of T'Challa's son, T'Challa II, was introduced at the end of Wakanda Forever. He's the child of Boseman's T'Challa and Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o). It will be interesting to see how the MCU handles the obvious jump from small child to adult by the time Black Panther 3 rolls around, but the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars should answer some of that.
