Timothée Chalamet‘s mom, Nicole Flender, joined the Kardashian-Jenner family in paying tribute to Mary Jo “MJ” Shannon on what would have been her 92nd birthday.

On Sunday, July 26, Flender commented on Kris Jenner‘s Instagram post, which she shared to mark her mom MJ’s first posthumous birthday, 10 days after announcing her death at age 91.

“So happy I got to know her,” Flender — whose son, Chalamet, is dating Kylie Jenner — wrote in the comments section.

Kris posted multiple family photos, which appear to have been taken during one of MJ’s previous birthday celebrations, with the late matriarch beaming as she posed surrounded by her loved ones.

MJ, who donned a bright, floral-print jacket for the party, was seen with Kris in multiple sweet snaps, while there was also a larger family photo featuring Kris’ daughters Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Khloé Kardashian, among many others.

“Happy Heavenly Birthday Mommy. I love you. 🤍,” Kris captioned the carousel of images.

Kim was among the many family members who shared a tribute to mark what would have been MJ’s 92nd birthday on Sunday.

The SKIMS founder captioned her Instagram post, “Happy Heavenly 92nd Birthday grandma! It’s only been a week but wow the amount of things I’ve learned about you this week from going through all of your stuff with mom has been beautiful !”

“I thought I knew it all! Makes me respect you and love you more if that’s even possible. Today we celebrate you!  I miss you like crazy and I love you endlessly my sweet grandma MJ,” she added.

Kris previously announced the death of her mom in an Instagram post on July 16, writing, “There are no words that could ever capture what she has meant to me or the heartbreak of having to say goodbye.”

“My mom was the heart of our family. She taught me everything that truly matters … to love your family fiercely, to be kind, to show up for the people you love, and to never take a single moment together for granted,” the reality TV star added.

After MJ’s death, a source told PEOPLE that Kris and her children were “heartbroken.” The beloved matriarch has long been considered the family’s emotional center and one of the girls’ biggest inspirations.

The source shared, “MJ was such an important person for all the girls.”

MJ, who ran a children’s clothing boutique for many years and lost her second husband in 2003 after a car crash, “really taught Kris and all the girls about being entrepreneurs and getting through hard times with humor,” the insider added to PEOPLE.

“Kris feels MJ is the reason she and the girls learned so many invaluable lessons,” the source continued. “Not just about business, but about life. Kris always says MJ’s humor lives on in all the girls.”
