The day after rock music icon Phil Collins turned 75 years old, his daughter, actress Lily Collins, shared a photo taken of the two on his birthday that had fans in awe.
On Jan. 31, Lily took to Instagram to share the new photo and some older snaps of the father-daughter duo while paying tribute to her dad.
"Yesterday Dad turned 75 and I feel so grateful to have celebrated together," she began her message in the caption. "For all you’ve accomplished, all the joy you’ve brought so many all over the world for ALL these years, all the lessons we’ve learned, all the memories we’ve shared, and all the new ones to come, thank you."
Lily went on, "I count myself so lucky to have hugged you, laughed with you, and reminisced with you on such a monumental day. Proud is an understatement. Love you to the moon and back again…"
In the new photo, Lily and her father smiled at the camera together, their resemblance on display. Lily had an arm around her father, wearing a sweater wrapped around her neck, while Collins donned a green polo shirt.
Lily also showed off two Polaroid photos she took with her dad, as well as a major throwback snap from when she was a little kid.

Fans shared a lot of love for Lily and Collins in the comments, with one writing in reply to the photos, "You're a lucky girl. Your dad is a legend, and his music will never die. Happy bd phil collins!♥️."
"This makes me so happy! Cuties !!" said someone else, while other fans chimed in, saying, "Those are truly beautiful words, Lily! Congratulations to your father," "Love this @lilyjcollins -- and such a great pic of you two!! ❤️," and "Glad you could celebrate such a special birthday together!"
Huge fans praised Collins in the comments, calling him a "legend" and a "genius" and writing, "Absolutely one of the best artists & recognizable music ever," while many more wished Collins a happy birthday.
Lily is Collins' daughter with his second wife, Jill Tavelman, whom he was married to from 1984 to 1996.
