The ladies of KPop Demon Hunters shared the special meanings behind their stunning looks at the 2026 Grammy Awards.

Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, who provide the singing voices for the fictional band HUNTR/X in the animated movie, opened up letting their heritage shine on the awards show red carpet in an interview with E! on Sunday, Feb. 1.

KPop Demon Hunters is nominated for four awards, including Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media and Best Song Written for Visual Media.

Nuna, who sings for Mira in the movie, said she’s wearing Thom Browne. "It's really a meaningful look to me. I'm obviously a proud daughter of immigrant parents and our story of survival is around clothing manufacturing," she, 26, added.

"Thom Browne is one of the first brands that my grandpa fulfilled orders for. So it's a huge full circle. Thank you to Thom Browne," the singer, 26, said.

Nuna’s outfit featured a mash-up of elements, including a bulky suit sleeve, a collared top and a ruffled skirt.

Ami’s ensemble also had a sentimental backstory. The singer, 30, who provides the vocals for Zoey, wore a custom white dress with an intricate headpiece. "If you look at the back, the flower represents that national flower of Korea," she says, adding that the flower "symbolizes resilience."

She chose the flower "to respect the very skill that got me here and the people that I learned that from — my Korean people."

Ejae shared that her simple dark blue gown was custom-made by Dior. The performer behind the singing voice of Rumi, 34, said, "Shoutout to Jonathan Anderson."

PEOPLE also caught up with the singers on the red carpet at the Grammys.

Ejae tells PEOPLE that she feels “so grateful, so honored” to be at the award show. “It’s just such an exciting moment right now, so we’re very happy and excited.” Rei Ami, meanwhile, sums up their successful year in one word: “Golden” — a nod to their hit song.

Writer-director Maggie Kang spoke with PEOPLE earlier this year about her hit movie that follows the K-pop girl group while they live secret lives as demon hunters."

When asked about the future of the movie, she said, “There's so many ways we can take it, but honestly, we haven't had any time to really think about anything.”

“Our creative brains are sitting on a couch,” Kang, 45, added.
