Early-2000s nostalgia is at an all-time high after Kesha (formerly stylized Ke$ha and real name Kesha Rose Sebert) had a surprise reunion with some of her earliest collaborators, 3OH!3, in a photo shared by the alternative duo on Dec. 5.

"You never know who you will run into at the airport!" the Boulder, Colorado-based band captioned a photo, which showed the "TiK ToK" pop star posing between Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte while rocking gray jeans and a big furry jacket. Kesha shared the same photo in a carousel photo dump on her own page, captioned "As of late."

Fans rushed to the comments to share their thoughts upon seeing the unexpected reunion. "3OH!3 and Kesha in 2025??!" said one excited follower, with another adding, "Please, make a third banger together."

Others immediately began speculating that they could be working on a project, with guesses as to what that could be including "A new 3OH!3 song????" "'Ran into her at the airport' OR secretly recording a followup? I'm onto y'all [eyes emoji," and "Please god tour!"

The same year that Kesha got her big break on Flo Rida's "Right Round," she also appeared on 3OH!3's electronic anthem "My First Kiss" in 2009, predating her breakout single "TiK ToK" and album Animal by a year. In 2010, they teamed up once again for Kesha's song "Blah Blah Blah." While their first collab hit No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100, their second did even better, peaking at No. 7.

In late 2025, 3OH!3 has been touring to celebrate the 15-year anniversary of the release of their popular album Streets Of Gold, which featured their Kesha collab. What better time for a follow-up?!
