Kaitlan Collins remains unfazed by Donald Trump's verbal attacks.

The 34-year-old CNN reporter made an appearance on The Daily Show on Monday, July 27. Kaitlan spoke about the president's jabs at her, specifically at the rescheduled White House Correspondents Dinner on July 24.

The president targeted Kaitlan in his speech where he claimed she didn't deserve a award for her reporting and compared her to trans actress Dylan Mulvaney. Trump also double down on the comparison by posting an AI photo of Kaitlan as Dylan from a 2023 promotional Bud Light video the influencer posted on her Instagram.

John Stewart and his audience took a moment to applaud Kaitlan for seeming so "unflappable" to Trump's attacks.

The host noted that colleague Wolf Blitzer was so "angry on her behalf" at the WHCD. John mentioned that Kaitlan doesn't angry and inquired on how does she maintain that level of detach.

"In terms of my reaction, I have always felt this - regardless of whose the president whether it's Joe Biden or Donald Trump, those are the two I have covered," Kaitlan began.

"It's really not about me, and I don't want it to be about my reaction. ... In those moments it's important to put the reminder back on the work, on the question, and on the non-answers that we get," she continued.
