Jury Duty is coming back. And this time around, it sounds like Ronald Gladden will be safe from the chaos.
On Thursday, Jan. 29, Prime Video announced the return of the popular documentary-style comedy, which essentially pranks its subject into believing that all the chaos surrounding them hasn't been "meticulously orchestrated" beforehand (spoiler alert: it has!).
Jury Duty Presents: Company Retreat — the next installment from the show's Emmy-nominated creative team — will follow a man named Anthony, a new temp worker who heads to "a corporate offsite event at a family-owned hot sauce company," per a synopsis.
"Unbeknownst to Anthony, the entire experience is staged, every colleague around him is performing a role, and each moment — whether in conference rooms or during downtime — has been meticulously orchestrated," per a description. "As the founder prepares to step down, the getaway transforms into a clash between big corporate ambitions and small business values, with control of the company hanging in the balance."

The new iteration of Jury Duty follows the 2025 shut down of Freevee, which was the original home of the series.
Season 1 premiered in April 2023 and centered on Gladden amid a mock jury selection and trial. While Gladden thought he was actually part of a real trial, the rest of the cast was in on the joke, including James Marsden, who played an extreme version of himself. The show scored a Peabody and AFI Award and was nominated for four Emmys, two Golden Globes and two Critics Choice Awards.
Back in February 2025, Variety reported on the second season and noted that it was filmed in Agoura Hills, outside Los Angeles.

Company Retreat will be executive produced by David Bernad, Lee Eisenberg, Gene Stupnitsky, Todd Schulman, Nicholas Hatton, Jake Szymanski, Anthony King, Chris Kula and and Ruben Fleischer. Eisenberg and Stupnitsky co-created the series, with Szymanski directing the latest version, per Prime Video.
Marsden will also be returning as an EP. Speaking with PEOPLE in 2023, Marsden, 52, told PEOPLE that it was "really important" to remain friends with Gladden after filming. "I was like, 'I can't end this and then go, 'Hey bud, that was fun, see ya,' " he said. "If we're really celebrating the guy, then we got to stay pals. And he's such a pure-hearted human being — I'd want to be friends with him anyway."
Gladden called the experience a a "rollercoaster" for him. "I was loving James one minute and then I was hating him the next, but then he'd bring himself back," Gladden said. "But once I found out it was fake, I was just so relieved ... to know that he was not that guy."
Season 1 of Jury Duty can be streamed on Prime Video. Company Retreat will hit the streamer on March 20 with three episodes. Two more episodes will them premiere on March 27, with a three-episode finale arriving on April 3.
