Off Campus features an ensemble cast playing college students at Briar University
Ella Bright, 19, and Belmont Cameli, 28, star as love interests in the Amazon Prime Video series
Bright addressed concerns about their age gap, sharing that she felt supported and built a strong friendship with Cameli
The Off Campus cast all came from different backgrounds to play students at Briar University.
The Amazon Prime Video series revolves around four friends and star players of the fictional school's hockey team as they face ups and downs in their love lives. The series, which is based on the Off-Campus book series by Elle Kennedy, focuses on one boy per book.
The first season, which was adapted from the first book The Deal, stars Ella Bright as aspiring singer Hannah Wells and hockey team captain Garrett Graham (Belmont Cameli) who decide to pretend to date in exchange for her giving him tutoring lessons. Meanwhile, the series also features Garrett's three close friends and teammates, played by Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks and Stephen Kalyn, along with Hannah's best friend, Allie (Mika Abdalla).
While the series follows the young adults as college students, some of the cast members are closer in age to their characters than others. For instance, Bright is 19 years old, while Cameli is nearly a decade older at 28 years old.
Here's everything to know about the ages of the Off Campus cast.

The first season of Off Campus follows Cameli as Briar University hockey team captain Garrett.
While Garrett is a college junior and around 20 years old, Cameli was 28 years old at the time the series hit Amazon Prime Video.
Cameli told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2026 that he was "really fired up" about playing Garrett and acknowledged that even though he was initially hesitant to play someone younger, he fell in love with the script and the show's creators.

Bright plays Hannah, the lead love interest in the first Off Campus season. In the freshman season, Hannah is around 20 years old and a college junior at Briar University pursuing music.
In real life, Bright isn't too far off from her character, as she is 19 years old as of May 2026, but she was 18 years old at the time of filming, per Vanity Fair. Bright is nearly 10 years younger than Cameli and she has defended their age gap after filming steamy on-screen scenes.
“I came into this job and during the chemistry reads with more than enough information and knowledge and understanding of what this role required,” Bright said in a May 2026 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast.
“And I just fell in love with Hannah and these scripts immediately. There was never a question that I wouldn't want to do this,” she continued.
Bright acknowledged "people's concern" over the age gap but also assured people that "not once" did she feel "left out from being younger than everybody." The actress further told PEOPLE in May that her connection with Cameli was "the best" and that they became "very fast friends."
"I remember the first time I met Belmont, we did the first kiss scene between Hannah and Garrett, obviously without the kissing," Bright said. "But it was really funny, because we would get really, really close and they would go, 'And cut!' It was really, really fun."
She continued, "We have so much fun together. He's the greatest. [We] met at the chemistry reads, we got each other's numbers and we've just been friends ever since. I mean, when you spend that much time with someone on set — we'd have like 15, 16-hour days — you have to be just the best of friends."

Abdalla stars in Off Campus as Allie, Hannah's best friend, roommate and college junior. Although Abdalla is six years older than her character, she still related to Allie.

“She’s in this forced way of being. She has a lot of big ideas about what she wants for her life in an idealistic way,” Abdalla told The Hollywood Reporter in May 2026. “Like most 18, 19, 20-year-olds, who have just left house for the first time discover, sometimes your expectations don’t match up to what is meant for you in life.”
Stephen Kalyn as Dean Di Laurentis

Kalyn scored the role of college senior Dean, who is about seven years younger than the actor.
"I’d say his charisma is something I feel like I can relate to, and the fact that he grew up playing hockey his whole life," Kalyn told Deadline of his character in May 2026. "[It’s] something that I did, so I knew my experiences around the hockey rink, so that culture I know very well."
Jalen Thomas Brooks as John Tucker

Brooks took on the role as the youngest Briar University hockey teammate, as he's a college sophomore in the series.
“I read the Tucker description and how he was a peacemaker, cook, the younger brother energy of the group and the glue guy,” Brooks told Deadline in May 2026. “There was a lot of things that I connected to personally in my life, just how I am in my friend groups, and I grew up playing a lot of competitive basketball. I was always the youngest and the younger brother of all my sports teams."
Antonio Cipriano as John Logan

Cipriano plays the role of college junior hockey player John Logan. Cipriano teased that although much of the first season revolves around his friend's love life, his character will hopefully get more attention later.
"You were really locked in on Garrett and Hannah in that first book, but then you get to go into Logan's story in the second book and kind of really understand who he is," Cipriano told Entertainment Weekly.
Julia Sarah Stone as Jules Logan

Unlike her costars, Julia Sarah Stone's character departed from the book. They play John Logan's younger nonbinary sibling Jules, who was originally written as an older brother named Jeff in The Mistake.
Louisa Levy explained to PEOPLE that Jules was intended as a "character who could tell us what was happening on the ice and just understanding the hockey of it all, because hockey is an important part of these guys' lives."
"I know that's not the main thrust of the show — the main thrust is the romance, it's the characters — but hockey is important, and hockey is just fun to watch too," Levy added. "But for any audience members who don't understand [hockey], I wanted there to be a character like Mouth in One Tree Hill, for instance, who can interpret what's happening for us."
Josh Heuston as Justin Kohl

Josh Heuston had the unique challenge of playing Justin, a college junior and the third member of the Hannah and Garrett love triangle.
“I guess he’s a little emo and angsty in a lot of ways, but I just wanted to give him a heart in it, where it’s not, I guess, the typical bad boy on campus sort of thing,” Heuston told Deadline. “I wanted people to feel for him and empathize in the fact that he’s just trying to follow his heart and see where that takes him, and as opposed to just being the totally typical archetype.”
