After some fans zeroed in on the condition of John's oven door window last week, the music legend took to social media to address the situation himself.

Sitting in his Windsor, UK home in his signature loungewear, the 78-year-old global superstar states that he was surprised to receive so many negative comments about his dirty oven door on his "Step Into Christmas" video. He captioned his response as a "Step Into Christmas PSA:"

"I can assure you, I don't have anything dirty in this house," the star says. "I've never had anything dirty. I am not a dirty person." John goes on to say he will prove it- and proceeds to block his face with his hands in a pair of bright pink kitchen gloves with feather boa trim. The clip ends with the singer giving a mischievous raised eyebrow and promising a Part 2 in the comments.

Fans flooded the comments with adoration for the star and reassurance that many of their ovens look to be in much worse condition compared to John's. Hours later, the star posted a follow-up video, clad in his pink kitchen gloves, cleaning said oven door window.
