Recent close-up images of President Trump have sparked fresh online discussion about the U.S. leader, this time centering on his neck.
Trump was photographed at the White House Correspondents' Association dinner over the weekend displaying an unusual skinfold at the front of his neck, apparently caused by excess skin gathering around his collar. Journalist Aaron Rupar drew attention to the images, sharing them with the caption, "Trump's neck at the White House Correspondents' dinner was rated NC-17."
The remark referenced Trump's neck, which bore an unfortunate resemblance to a certain female anatomy, a similarity that other social media users quickly noticed. In his X post, Rupar included a zoomed-in photograph of the president's neck."Now you can't unsee it either," one person responded, while another asked, "Isn't that Ozempic neck?"

The photographs were taken during Trump's appearance at the annual media gathering on Friday evening, after the original event was canceled following a shooting. Journalists from organizations that the president has publicly denounced and taken legal action against received recognition at the ceremony, including the New York Times, CNN, and the Wall Street Journal.
While asserting he respected "most of" the journalists present, Trump proceeded to level his familiar "fake news" accusations against the reporters and claimed they suffered from "Trump Derangement Syndrome". The photographs of Trump's neck represent the most recent visual concern regarding the president's health, though this isn't the first instance where attention has centered on the president's neck region.

In March this year, Trump appeared with a concerning rash on the side of his neck during the Medal of Honor Ceremony, which led to a statement from the president's personal physician.
In his explanation, Dr. Sean Barbabella indicated that the rash resulted from Trump applying a particular cream as a "preventative skin treatment".
"President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment. The president is using the treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks," Barbabella explained.
He did not say what the cream was or what Trump needed the skin treatment for.
The U.S. leader has also been observed with makeup covering his bruised right hand at recent appearances, including during the FIFA event in New York, sparking additional health questions.
During the event, the makeup clearly covering his hand was hard to miss - an image that has grown more common as Trump consistently tries to hide the bruising. The bruising visible on Trump's right hand has been explained by frequent handshaking, his chronic venous insufficiency (CVI), and aspirin use, according to the White House.
