During an appearance on Today, Alix Earle discussed her latest projects, including her newly launched Reale Actives skincare brand and her family's upcoming Netflix reality show

The influencer, 25, noted that while she's gotten more used to cameras, her family doesn't have the same experience and isn't "media trained"

Earle admitted she's "a little scared" about the project but also excited to show her "blended family" to viewers

Alix Earle has been opening up her life to massive audiences for years, but that doesn't necessarily mean those closest to her claim the same expertise.

The influencer, 25, appeared on the fourth hour of Today on Monday, March 30 to discuss her latest projects, including her newly launched skincare line, Reale Actives. She also reflected on her Dancing with the Stars run and looked ahead toward her next TV endeavor: a Netflix reality series following her and her family.

Speaking to Jenna Bush Hager and Matt Rogers, who filled in for regular co-host Sheinelle Jones, Earle admitted production has "been a learning process" since it's their first time doing something like the show.

"I'm used to cameras and stuff now a little bit more. My family — no, not media trained. Nothing," the social media star quipped. Dropping her face in her hands, she added with a laugh, "It's like, oh my gosh."

Bush Hager, 44, asked if Earle's feelings could be characterized with the sentiment of "What did we get ourselves into?" She confirmed that it's "a little bit" that way. "But I think it'll be fun," Earle added.

"We have a blended family ... Through even my parents divorce, we all hang out together," she continued. "So hopefully it's a good representation of putting family first and really loving each other and the ups and downs that come with family."

The TikTok star concluded, "I'm a little scared, for sure, but here we go."

Earle revealed the news about the reality series on Jan. 21, when she and Netflix posted a joint Instagram Reel teasing what's to come. The video opened with the Get Real With Me host on the phone with her father outside of Netflix's offices, where she presumably just came from a meeting. She assured him that things are going to be "fine."

"Dad, it's gonna be fun!" the content creator said, looking ready for business in a sheer maroon blouse and glasses. "It's gonna be fine. I mean, what's the worst that can happen?"

The caption read, "From your FYP to your TV: Alix Earle, her family, and friends will star in an unscripted series dropping later this year on Netflix."
